Sann Carrière

Sann Carrière is the founder and Chief System Builder (equivalent to CEO) of So Now, a company focused on circular economy business design.12 She established So Now in the Netherlands in 2009 with the mission of helping organizations adopt sustainable economic models.2 In 2017, Carrière expanded So Now's operations by opening a branch office in Singapore.12

Carrière is an entrepreneur and thought leader in the circular economy space. She has co-founded several companies, including:

1. Orobo.io: A technology company that applies blockchain and AI to create tools for supply chain mapping in the circular economy.1
2. Material Innovation Center (MIC): A foundation for semi-open innovation in sustainable materials.1
3. WSolve: A company transforming office and home spaces into full operational lease models.1

With over 15 years of experience, Carrière specializes in ecosystem development, partnership building, and implementing sustainable business models.13 She works with various organizations, including startups, government bodies, and multinational companies, to develop circular economy strategies and foster innovation in materials and production.1

Carrière holds a Master's degree in Communication and Information Science from Tilburg University and has completed postgraduate studies in Japanese at Leiden University.1 She is multilingual, speaking Dutch, English, and Japanese.1

In her spare time, Carrière practices yoga, enjoys nature and traveling, and has interests in dancing, reading, and writing about the future.4
