Sanjay Shah

Sanjay Shah, a seasoned executive with over 30 years of management and software product experience, is currently the COO of the Wadhwani Foundation, responsible for overseeing all operations related to India and SE Asia. Shah, who is a graduate of Indian Institute of Technology and Virginia Tech, has held numerous leadership roles throughout his career, including as the Managing Director for Asia at iManage, CEO of Zapty Inc., and the Managing Director and Founder of Everest Software, Inc.

Shah's strengths are in steering software product companies from early growth to expansion and selling and marketing packaged off-the-shelf products to the global market. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table, having co-founded several startups, including Skelta, which was acquired by Invensys PLC in 2010. Shah is also a member of The Young President's Organization and serves on the Board of Directors for Sasken Technologies and Instavans Logistics.
