Sanjay Sethi

Sanjay Sethi is a seasoned Food and Agribusiness professional with over twenty years of experience in developing integrated supply chains in Africa, Middle East, and India. He is a cross-functional leader with expertise in rolling out large supply chain, food production, irrigation, agri infrastructure, international trade, and investment opportunities. He has advised various Governments, Institutions, Developmental Finance Institutions, and Multi-Lateral Agencies for economic empowerment of farming communities, and is a strong believer in the power of private business to support the social agenda in a sustainable manner, particularly in food security of the world.

Sanjay Sethi is an agribusiness strategist, entrepreneur, business leader, change agent, and thought leader. He studied MBA (PGDRM), Rural Management, Agri Business Management, Rural Marketing, and Advanced Finance Control Systems at Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), and B. Sc.(HONS.) Agriculture, Soil Sciences, Agronomy, Animal Sciences, Animal & Plant Breeding, Agricultural Economics, Pathology at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University.

Currently, he is leading a processing company managing a $60 million unit for rice, cashew, and tomato in Mozambique. He is an international speaker on agri-business challenges and opportunities in the Middle East, Africa, and India region. He has also attended the WBCSD Leadership Program in Sustainability at Yale School of Management and a Course on Sustainable Finance, Distinction at United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).

Sanjay Sethi serves as the Executive Director at Plant-Based Foods Industry Association, where he brings his extensive experience to drive positive outcomes in the industry. Previously, he has worked with many organizations and served as an Advisor & Board Member at Independent Consultant.
