Sanisha Rehan

Sanisha Rehan is an accomplished Engineering Manager at Yelp, overseeing the Billing Infrastructure team within the Commerce Platform. She leads a team of 8 engineers spread across North America and Europe, responsible for maintaining existing billing infrastructure and facilitating the adoption of new billing methods across Yelp's products.

Prior to her current role, Sanisha spent 2.5 years as a Senior Software Engineer in the Commerce Core team at Yelp, focusing on developing tools and infrastructure for Billing and Collections.

Sanisha's professional journey includes a role as a Software Engineer at the prestigious hedge fund, D. E. Shaw & Co, where she specialized in designing and implementing ETL pipelines and UI dashboards tailored for trading strategy clients.

Her expertise lies in crafting scalable backend systems, designing APIs, and excelling in people management.

Sanisha holds a Master's Degree in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University, where she graduated with a perfect GPA of 4.0. She also achieved a Rank 1 while pursuing her Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in VLSI Design and CAD at Thapar University and was the second-ranked student in the Electronics and Communications Engineering batch at Punjabi University during her Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) studies.

Throughout her career, Sanisha has held various roles ranging from Graduate Teaching Assistant and Computer Engineering Graduate Student at San Jose State University to System Engineer and Member Technical positions at Infosys and The D. E. Shaw Group, respectively.
