    Sandor Mulsow is a marine biogeochemist specializing in sediments and the water column, with expertise in geochronology, nutrients fluxes, heavy metals, and radio-tracers. He has conducted environmental monitoring studies from shallow to deep sea environments and investigated water contamination in various oceans including the Mururoa-Fangataufa, Arabian Sea, North-East Atlantic, South Pacific, and the Arctic and Antarctic Oceans. Dr. Mulsow has contributed to research on carbon export in marine and estuarine ecosystems, land-ocean interactions in coastal areas and estuaries of countries such as Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Mexico, and Chile, employing radioisotopes (natural and man-made), biosensors, and micro-electrodes. He is also experienced in using SPI, UV, and underwater surveys to study these environments. Additionally, he has explored anthropogenic environmental impacts in coastal regions and aquaculture. Furthermore, Dr. Mulsow has delved into deep-sea geochemistry focusing on nodules, crust, and massive sulphides, as well as engaged in instrument technology development. Apart from his scientific pursuits, he is the founder and supporter of Hampton College Valdivia, a bilingual elementary and high school in Valdivia, Chile. Dr. Mulsow is proficient in Spanish, French, and English.
