Sander Peltenburg
Sander Peltenburg is a driven entrepreneur who is making waves in the food industry with his company, De Krekerij. With a focus on sustainability and innovation, Peltenburg and his team are changing people's perceptions of crickets and grasshoppers by creating appealing and tasty products for the food service industry. A graduate of Delft University of Technology, Peltenburg has a background in Construction, Management & Engineering, as well as Technology Policy and Management. Peltenburg's extensive professional experience includes serving as the Co-Founder of Burgs Foods and Dutch Students for Entrepreneurship, as well as the Junior Economic Officer at the Consulate General of the Netherlands in New York, and the Business Developer at YES!Delft. He has been recognized for his work, winning the Columbus Trophy 2019 and being named part of the Sustainable Young 100 of the Netherlands 2019 and Food 30 under 30 2019.
