Stichting Morgenland Festival Amsterdam is the Dutch edition of the highly successful "Morgenland Festival Osnabrück". This German festival offers since 2005 the fascinating musical culture of the Middle East, ranging from traditional music to classical to avant-garde, jazz and rock. After a successful pilot in 2015, there will be an annual Dutch version of the festival starting in 2016 with partners such as Bimhuis.

With the focus on a region that is known to us as the "Orient", which immediately evokes positive and negative clichés, the festival has the task to recreate these images in an authentic way. The festival organizes a real musical encounter for its guests. An encounter with a complex, sometimes related, and sometimes inspiring "foreigner". The goal is to bring together different cultures and bridging supposed differences and reduce the distance between people. More relevant than ever in view of the recent economic and political developments.

What is the track record of Morgenland? An unusually extensive press coverage (BBC, CNN, ARTE, 3sat, ARD, Spiegel, Stern, FAZ, New York Times, Washington Post, Tehran Times, Hindu Post, Syria Times) and the annual occupancy rate of almost 100% documents the particular significance and relevance of this festival. The Festival has presented various choral and orchestral projects in Iran, Iraq, Syria, Jordan and Turkey. In 2013 the German festival invited 65 musicians from 9 countries. The first appearance of a Western Symphony Orchestra in Iran after 1979 or the Iran-premiere of Bach's Johannes Passion were other highlights in the history of the festival. Furthermore, there are countless documentaries and CDs are made in the framework of the festival.

Manifesto Poetico is the artistic association between François Lecoq and Carlos García Estévez. Both are specialist and constant researchers on stage movement, dramatic space and acting. Based on Jacques Lecoq’s Pedagogy, their work projects further into multidisciplinary fields.

This association proposes artistic projects and collaborations in the form of workshops, conferences / demonstration, devised theatre, movement direction (cinema and musical projects) and mise en scene. They collaborate with visual artists and architects.

Created both new profitable online services as well as an all new strategy for online reservations as a business model. Created a business/financial plan for 2010-2014. Responsible for bringing together a very energetic and focused team (grown from 4 to 30 staff members). Successfully contracting UK based LiveBookings as technology and marketing partner for reservation services (2010). Created technology/marketing partnerships with Facebook, Hyves and Google. 

Tripled revenue in 4 years from 500K to 1,5M, growing consumer traffic to over 1.000.000  visits per month and over 5.500.000 unique visitors per year, connecting over 7.000 new restaurant owners online (Netherlands and Belgium).

Created and executed the European Business Plan. Disciplines include Process Engineering and Methodology Enhancement (IBM-Rational Unified Process Based), Contract/Engagement Management, Project Management, Pre sales/Consulting, Recruiting/Resource Management of EMEA’s Engagement Managers, Project Managers and Consulting Group (19 direct reports of which 16 new hires: 9 Managers, 9 Consultants, Coordinator, 85 indirect reports). 

Responsible for implementing a new Engagement Management organization, adapting all available US project management best practices and solidification into a new Delivery Management framework, ensuring a predictable, 100% on time, on budget delivery with a client satisfaction score of >4 out of 5. 

Delivered a 19M$ revenue and 9M$ profit in top year 2003.
