San Gunawardana

San Gunawardana is a visionary leader with a strong passion for merging technology and business to address real-world challenges. Throughout his career, he has excelled in building and leading high-performance teams to tackle complex problems. One of his remarkable career milestones includes co-founding Enview, an AI/ML platform company, where he served as CEO. Under his leadership, Enview secured multiple rounds of venture capital and eventually got acquired by Matterport in 2022. During this journey, he successfully onboarded prestigious clients like Google, PG&E, ExxonMobil, and various branches of the US government.

San has a proven track record in negotiating and closing multimillion-dollar deals spanning diverse industries. His expertise extends to solving critical operational issues, as demonstrated during his time working with the US Army in Afghanistan, where he utilized innovative technologies like prototyping, remote sensing, and data analytics to address pressing challenges.

His academic background is equally impressive, holding a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Stanford University. His research there focused on AI/ML applications within the aerospace domain. Prior to his doctoral studies, he completed his Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Aerospace Engineering at Stanford University and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, respectively.
