Samyr Qureshi is the Co-founder and CEO of Knack, a technology platform that enhances student success by facilitating peer tutoring programs for colleges and universities. Education and Early Career
Qureshi graduated from St. Petersburg College in 2011 with an Associate of Arts degree and later earned a Bachelor of Arts in Law & Criminology from the University of Florida. During his time at university, he was recognized for his entrepreneurial skills, winning the UF Big Idea Business Plan Competition in 2016.12 Before founding Knack, he held various positions including a Technology Account Executive at Gartner and an iOS Product Advisor at Apple.2
Achievements
Samyr has been acknowledged for his contributions to education technology, being named in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2020 for his work in the education sector. He has also received accolades such as the Emerging Tech Leader of the Year award from Tampa Bay Tech Awards and was featured in the 40 Gators Under 40 by the University of Florida Alumni Association.23
Personal Life
In addition to his professional endeavors, Qureshi enjoys writing and playing music, particularly using vintage analog equipment. He resides in Tampa, Florida, with his dog, Koda.1
