Samuele Contardi is a seasoned IT professional with a strong passion for technology that dates back to his childhood. He embarked on his professional journey in 1989, collaborating with various consultant firms as a developer and system engineer. In 1991, he enrolled at Politecnico di Milano to pursue electronic engineering courses.
With a solid foundation in microprogramming, digital electronics design, neural networks, and genetic algorithms, Samuele joined Professor Sechi's team at the National Research Council in Milan in 1996. His career took a trajectory towards troubleshooting IT issues when he joined Epson Italy in 1997, specializing in Windows, Unix, Mac, and AS400 systems. This experience was further honed as an EDP manager at a branch of Marconi Corporation.
From 1999 onwards, Samuele ventured into teaching, imparting knowledge in system engineering, networking, application design, and programming languages like VB6, .NET, JSE, and J2EE. He collaborated with various local and global entities, delivering European Social Fund classes.
In the early 2000s, Samuele's expertise expanded as a Windows DNA senior developer at Softpeople. He led EAI projects in industrial settings, focusing on solution architecture, software development lifecycle management, and engineering. His proficiency extended to utilizing tools like Mercury suite for testing, Mega & Caliber RM for requirements, and BPM and UML-based tools for process design.
Transitioning to an enterprise architect role at Carrefour Italy in 2003, Samuele spearheaded the implementation of a European integration platform based on SOA principles. He revamped multiple distributed applications, crafted frameworks, and standardized outsourced development processes.
In 2011, Samuele embraced freelance work, concentrating on web-based and desktop app development, web 2.0 site design, and aiding small companies in software development life cycle engineering. His specialties include defining customization, translating business requirements into architecture, communicating technical decisions effectively, and contributing as a hands-on developer on J2EE and .NET platforms.
Samuele Contardi's educational background encompasses studies in Biomedical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano and completion of high school at Liceo Scientifico Statale Elio Vittorini.
