Samuel Peinado is a strategic thinker and product doer with a passion for climate justice and sustainability. He is a seasoned product designer in technical domains and has taken on responsibilities traditionally handled by product managers. He graduated with Honors in History and Science with a minor in Studio Art from Harvard University and holds an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Newark Academy. He is a Design Lead at VMware, where he applies his expertise in product design and sustainability to lead the design team. Samuel previously held positions such as Origination Manager at Diversified Hydrogen, Senior Product Designer at Pivotal, Product Designer & Deputy Manager at Mahindra & Mahindra, Student Research Assistant at IDEO, Summer Chief of Staff at Omada Health, and Co-Founder and Lead Designer at HuePick. He started his career as a Prep Chef at Natirar.
Besides his professional endeavors, Samuel has a deep interest and commitment to climate change initiatives. He brings his extensive experience in product design, management, and strategic planning to create innovative solutions towards a sustainable future.
