Samuel Hoskins, also known as 'Big Cyph,' started his writing and producing career with Rodney & Fred Jerkins of Darkchild Entertainment, securing placements with artists like Rhona Bennett and the group So-Plush. He furthered his success by writing and placing songs with Roy Hamilton of Hit District, including tracks on Nivea's 'Cats Gotcha Tongue' and 'Problems.' Hoskins later caught the attention of the legendary multi-platinum producer Teddy Riley, leading to collaborations that included tracks with Monifah and the iconic Michael Jackson's 'Shout.' He also worked with Wyclef Jean, writing for an artist signed to Jean. Transitioning to the West Coast, specifically West Hollywood, he collaborated with talents like Kenneth 'Babyface' Edmonds, Kristina De'Barge, Phat Rat, Katt Williams, Karlie Redd, and billionaire entrepreneur Michael Liberty.
