Samuel Barnes

Samuel Barnes, MPA, is an entrepreneur with a focus on planetary regeneration and a diverse background in nonprofit and business management, brand strategy, natural sciences, and event production.

With over a decade of experience, Samuel is skilled in workshop, retreat, and event production, front-end design, graphics, social media, and web development. He is also an accomplished writer and copyeditor with a deep understanding of web3 technologies.

Samuel holds a Master's in Public Administration (MPA) in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), after completing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science with honors from Macaulay Honors College at The City University of New York.

Currently residing in Costa Rica, Samuel serves as the community manager for Forta, a prominent smart contract security platform supported by a16z, Blockchain Capital, and others. He is actively involved in incubating the Decentralized Philanthropy Network and is a co-founder of RegeNFT, a pioneering regenerative crypto art gallery and platform.

Throughout his career, Samuel has held various roles in organizations such as Forta, RegeNFT, Social Equity, Wisdom Weavers of the World, Waterkeeper Alliance, and Singularity University NYC, showcasing his expertise in community management, product development, culture, and brand strategy.

His professional journey includes contributions to Well.org, New York Open Center, Whiteboard Pictures, The Regenerates, Sun Rose Strategy, and Account Executive roles at Likeable Local, among others. Samuel's experience spans from executive assistance to brand strategy consulting, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to environmental and social impact causes.
