Sammi Cannold

Sammi Cannold is a prominent director in the entertainment industry, recognized as one of Forbes Magazine's 30 Under 30 in Hollywood & Entertainment for 2019. With a versatile portfolio, Sammi has made significant contributions to both Broadway and off-Broadway productions, as well as various projects with CBS, Nickelodeon, Paramount+, Cirque du Soleil, and TikTok. Noteworthy credits include directing 'Evita' at New York City Center, 'Endlings' at New York Theatre Workshop and the American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.), 'Ragtime on Ellis Island,' 'Violet' on a moving bus at A.R.T., and 'Allegory' at La Jolla Playhouse WOW. Sammi's debut documentary feature film premiered at Broadway’s Majestic Theatre, with a global release on the horizon. Currently, she is involved in upcoming ventures encompassing new musicals, revivals, and feature films. Sammi's expertise extends to live television through work with White Cherry Entertainment, CBS, and Paramount+. Beyond her entertainment endeavors, she serves as a Senior Case Manager for Human First Coalition, aiding with humanitarian efforts in Afghanistan.
