Our products have been used by some of the world's biggest companies.

-Founded and led the development of Shifthive, a SaaS workforce scheduling software for the hospitality and healthcare sectors.
-Engineered a cutting-edge workforce scheduling algorithm and UI, notably implemented at a top 15 US hospital in New York & Minor Hotels ($50B hotel company).
-Led a team of engineers, providing mentorship and fostering skill development.
-Coordinated with healthcare teams for API integrations; played a key role in IT approval processes and large-scale deployments.
-Mentored by Oracle’s employee #5 and Senior Technical Advisor (still active).
-Utilized PHP Laravel, Angular, and Ionic for full-stack development; managed server deployments with Docker on AWS.
-Raised capital from SF VC, early Oracle employees and others.

Created an ML based platform that digitized thousands of documents and extracted entity data within minutes.
-Recognize accurately hard to read documents with image artifacts, including handwritten scanned documents.
-Extract entity data such as dates, people, places, etc.  Trained to recognize certain types of documents (contracts, memos, emails, etc.).
-Integration with box.com for document storage for security and data integrity.
-Using TensorFlow for document classification and the ability to digitize, organize and extract entity data from thousands of scanned documents, within hours.

ShiftPosts is an on-demand platform that provides shift workers to the healthcare industry.

-Bootstrapped the startup while running my development agency, Sixtooth.
-From concept to branding, design, software architecture and business development -- involved at every level.  
-Managed and mentored 12 employees (programmers, sales team, marketing, etc) and worked with advisors that were former CEOs of billion dollar healthcare companies.
-Created partnerships with nationwide pharmacy brands, visited conferences in Dublin, Lisbon and across Canada & United States.
-Used Sails.js (Express.js & Node.js) to build the “On-demand pharmacists for pharmacies”, allowed pharmacists to get paid via the platform for shifts they work, including applying for shifts and a rating system to ensure high standards for workers.
-Architected the entire software platform, designed the interface of the application, created a sales and business strategy. 
-Got ShiftPosts a pilot with the BC Pharmacy Association.
-Showcased the prototype at the WebSummit 2015, where ShiftPosts was selected as an "Alpha Startup".  ShiftPosts was been selected as a "Beta Startup" at the Web Summit 2016.

ShiftPosts

Founded a digital agency in downtown Toronto that provided design and development services to clients, tripled revenues every year, while bootstrapping a few startups. Created radurls.com which aggregated trending urls online, featured on LifeHacker.com. Managed a team of designers, developers, and marketers.

- Starlight Investments (PHP, MySQL) - Developed a PHP/MySQL based website with custom plugins to showcase the company’s portfolio (frontend using CSS, HTML, jQuery backend using PHP, MySQL).
- Permatex.ca Promotions - Developed a multilingual (French and English) contest management system which allowed for the creation of custom contests. Each contest had unique giveaway dates, prizes and email notifications of the winners. Used Kohana, PHP, MySQL, jQuery, HTML and CSS.
- CAST Software Ltd - Created an interactive flash animation using actionscript. Worked with creative director to make animation realistic.

- Bell Media Contest Engine - addition of features and modification of the contest engine.  Used to create contests for Bell Media owned companies (which included analytics, contest creation and contest management).
- Morguard Investments - http://150elgin.com -  Wordpress based interactive website with custom PHP plugins, jQuery animated stacking plan with a square footage measurement tool, customized Google Maps locations page custom image carousels and an interactive 3D walkthrough (PHP, MySQL, jQuery, CSS2).
- Virgin Gaming Facebook Application - Developed a Facebook application for Virgin Gaming using PHP, MySQL, Jquery, CSS2 and the Facebook API.
- Harper Collins: http://marinaadshade.com - Helped build a Wordpress based blogging platform for Marina Adshade.  Used PHP, MySQL, CSS2, Jquery.
