Sameer Ahuja

Sameer Ahuja is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with a diverse background in sports mobile apps, investment management, fintech, and location-based entertainment. He is currently the Lead GameChanger and General Manager of the sportstech company backed by DICK'S Sporting Goods, an operating system of youth sports, dedicated to building data products and mobile applications that help teams, coaches, players, and families improve their sports experience.

Before joining GameChanger, Sameer held various leadership positions at the company, including Vice President of Operations, Finance, Analytics, Head of Finance and Analytics, and Interim General Manager. Prior to GameChanger, Sameer founded and was CEO of Dera Capital Advisors, a fintech-focused investment management firm, COO of GATE Global Impact LLC, Co-Founder, COO/CFO of the Sports Museum of America, and worked as an associate at JPMorgan Chase & Co. and A.T. Kearney.

Sameer holds a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. He is also currently studying deep learning with fast.ai on topics such as computer vision, natural language processing, tabular data, collaborative filtering, and generative adversarial networks.

Outside of his professional career, Sameer is a volunteer youth softball coach in Scarsdale, NY. He also runs his personal blog, www.complexityeverywhere.com, where he analyzes markets, politics, and society with deep learning and complexity science. He is also a contributing writer for Towards Data Science.
