Samantha Martin

Samantha Martin is the CEO and Founder of Via TRM, an edtech platform dedicated to empowering the next generation of global citizens through international education, leadership, and design thinking. With a Bachelor's degree in Hotel, Restaurant & Tourism Management from the University of South Carolina-Columbia, and a Master's degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from Ulster University, Martin has gained vast experience in conflict transformation, social change, and international education.

Before founding Via TRM, Martin worked as a Study Abroad Advisor at SUNY New Paltz, a Country Coordinator at Educational Cultural Exchanges, a Research Assistant at International Conflict Research Institute (INCORE), a Program Coordinator at International Education Programs, and a Peer Advisor at the University of South Carolina, Study Abroad Office. Her extensive background in various international education roles has allowed Martin to develop a unique perspective on how to foster globally-minded individuals and make the international education process seamless.

Martin is a passionate advocate for innovation and design thinking to create solutions to sophisticated global issues. Her interest in the power of education stems from her firsthand experience and passion for traveling and exploring new cultures. Martin has gained expertise in conflict resolution, cultural exchange, program management, and international education, among other areas.
