Samantha Katz is an accomplished strategist, startup generalist, and community builder with a passion for inclusion and economic belonging. Katz studied at Ransom Everglades and North Beach Elementary before receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy from Barnard College.

Katz's career is marked by a series of high-level positions, including Founder of Invest & Imbibe®, Director of Community Engagement at New York Distilling Company, and Executive Director of Strategy at Rethink Food NYC. Katz has also served as a field organizer and bus captain on the Get It Done Express Tour for Team Bloomberg.

Katz is a former board member of Left Tackle Capital and co-founder of INclusion Capital and Ladies of American Distilleries. Additionally, Katz has held roles as Managing Director at BGC Environmental Brokerage Services, Partner & Director of Western US Environmental Markets at Evolution Markets, and Vice President of Marketing & Sales at EAD Environmental LLC.
