Samantha Berg

Samantha Berg is a design leader with over 15 years of experience in building and leading teams. She has worked for larger tech companies, mid-sized consulting firms, and venture-backed startups. Sam is dedicated to creating cultures of equity and inclusion, both within her design teams and at the women's groups she's initiated at various companies. As the Head of Design at Chime, Samantha is focused on creating next-generation consumer products that empower underrepresented individuals.

Samantha's background includes a B.S. from Cornell University, as well as a Certificate from the same institution. Her experience includes several leadership and director roles, such as the Director of Design at LendingClub, Director of Design at FiveStars, and Associate Director, Interaction Design at Punchcut. She has also held positions in user research and human factors design, such as Senior Interaction Designer and User Researcher at Palm and Human Factors Research & Design Intern at Motorola Mobile Devices.

In 2021, Samantha was named to the Anchor List and received the Moxie Award for her contributions to the design industry.
