Focused on having consultative discussions with prospective clients to better understand their tax compliance issues. After gaining a better perspective on their issues, I advise on the company's solutions and facilitate the customers experience down the sales cycle. While in this role, I:
     - Developed experience and proficiency in conducting prospecting and discovery calls   
     - Built an understanding of the United States transactional tax climate and Avalara's unique 
        position in the market
     - Had the opportunity to work and learn from numerous sales leaders in different        departments including new sales, existing add-ons and strategic partner management. 
     - Started numerous sales that amounted to $200,000+ in bookings

Sales Development Representative

During this internship, I was tasked to work directly on the Seattle AHA office's largest event: the Heart and Stroke Walk. Reporting directly to the Walk Coordinator, I:
-Represented the AHA at health fairs, lunch and learns, and Heart Walk recruitment events
-Worked with the event planning team to create, plan and manage AHA fundraising events 
-Researched and solicited in-kind donations from local businesses to use as fundraising incentives and rewards for Heart and Stroke Walk participants
-Recruited Community Teams; managed communications & logistics
