With a Bachelor's degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) from the University of Durham, along with previous experience in various roles at organizations such as the Department for Education, Education and Skills Funding Agency, Defra, and Canada Life, Sam's professional journey has been diverse and impactful.
Having studied Acting at Identity School of Acting and A-Levels & GCSEs at Parmiter's School, Sam's educational foundation combined with practical experience within different sectors reflects a versatile skill set and a broad understanding of various disciplines.
Currently serving as a System Strategist in the Skills Group at the Department for Education, Sam has previously held positions including Strategy & Stakeholder Engagement in the Post-16 Skills Group, Associate Product Manager for the Further Education Mapping Project, Finance & Governance Caseworker for Academy Schools at the Education and Skills Funding Agency, and Strategy Generalist for EU Exit at Defra. Additionally, Sam has a background as an Actuarial Assistant with Canada Life and experience as a Bay Host at Top Golf.
