Samuel Raus

Sam Raus is a project-driven young professional currently studying public relations and political science at the University of Miami. With a keen interest in digital audiences, social media technology, graphic design, and strategic communication, Sam excels in reaching diverse audiences across various industries.

As a student journalist, Sam has honed writing skills at George Washington's The Hatchet and Haddonfield Memorial High School's Bulldawg Bulletin. From objective reporting on community events to subjective political op-ed pieces, Sam demonstrates versatility and expertise in journalistic writing.

With a strong belief in client service and a passion for political and diplomatic affairs, Sam's dedication extends to working around the clock, a characteristic necessary in demanding fields. Despite a busy schedule, Sam finds time to explore the United States, indulge in new cuisines, particularly sushi, and nurture an enthusiasm for American Independence and Philadelphian history.

Sam's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Miami, where they maintained a remarkable 3.81 GPA. Additionally, Sam pursued studies in International Relations and Affairs at the Elliott School of International Affairs, completed high school with a 4.3 GPA at Haddonfield Memorial High School, and engaged in summer coursework at Columbia University in the City of New York focusing on Natural Resource, Global Markets & Social Impact.

In terms of professional experience, Sam has held roles such as Policy Team Researcher at Becky Edwards for U.S. Senate, Communications Fellow at Councilmember Isaiah Thomas, and Digital Strategy Director at Dan Zhang for Commissioner. Sam has also been involved with several political campaigns, including Students for Alvin Bragg and Andy Kim for Congress. Prior to this, Sam gained experience in roles ranging from dishwasher to delivery driver, showcasing a diverse skill set and adaptability.
