Sam Gruber

Sam Gruber is an accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive work experience in China-related roles.

He holds a Master of Arts (MA) in International Economics and China Studies from The Johns Hopkins University, Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). Prior to his MA, he completed a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Affairs with Highest Distinction & Chinese Language at the University of Virginia.

Sam has held key roles in various organizations, notably serving as a China Policy Advisor at the United States Department of Defense. Additionally, he has worked as an Analyst at Martin+Crumpton Group LLC, interned at the Office of Trade Policy and Economics at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, Deloitte China, and North Head. He has also been an Associate in Capital Markets at AlphaSights, a Teaching Fellow at Teach For China, and a Chinese Bilingual Faculty Program Classroom Assistant at the University of Virginia.
