Sam Ford is the Co-Founder of Innovation Engine, a consultancy focused on innovation strategies, audience engagement, cultural intelligence, and media storytelling. He operates out of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and has extensive experience working with a variety of organizations, including major companies and educational institutions such as Paramount, Univision, MIT, and Microsoft.
In addition to his role at Innovation Engine, Ford serves as the Executive Director of AccelerateKY, where he promotes innovation initiatives in Kentucky. He is also an Innovation and Culture Fellow at the Western Kentucky University Innovation Campus and a Project Co-Creator with the Civic Imagination Project at the University of Southern California. His academic affiliations include being a Research Affiliate with MIT's Comparative Media Studies/Writing department, where he has contributed to various research initiatives since 2008.1
