Sam Brown

Sam Brown is a former Director of the White House Business Council for President Barack Obama. He has a background in commercial banking and is currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Commercial Banking at Amalgamated Bank.

Sam Brown holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of Southern California and completed his High School Diploma at The Blake School. He is deeply rooted in Minnetonka, Minnesota and is a passionate supporter of the Minnesota Vikings.

Throughout his career, Sam has held various important roles in the financial and political sectors. He has served in executive positions such as Executive Vice President of Business Development at Amalgamated Bank, Chief of Staff at Organizing for Action, and Finance Chief of Staff at the Presidential Inaugural Committee, Obama for America, and the Democratic National Committee.

In addition to his finance roles, Sam has also worked in political consulting and fundraising, with experience as a Political Consultant & Fundraiser at Capital Strategies and as a Deputy Finance Director for various political campaigns.
