Sam Basu is a highly educated professional with extensive experience in the business and healthcare industries. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from both The Wharton School and INSEAD and a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from The Johns Hopkins University. Additionally, he studied Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed a Biotechnology Practicum program at Long Reach High School.

Sam has held several notable positions throughout his career, including his current role as SVP of Employee Experience and DEI at Edelman. He has also been a council member at Forbes and has worked as the Head of DEI, Organizational & Leadership Development at CultureStrategy and as an Organizational Change Lead at Accenture. Sam has extensive experience in healthcare and pharma, having worked as a Market Research Manager at ABT ASSOCIATES, INC, a Biomedical Research Analyst at Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University, and a Behavioral Research Intern at Johns Hopkins Medicine. Sam also worked as a Biotechnology Research Assistant at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and as a Regional Operations Manager at Sony India.
