Sam Adams

Sam Adams is a well-experienced professional who has served in various leadership roles such as mayor, city commissioner, chief of staff, entrepreneur, and consultant.

With over 35 years of experience, he has been instrumental in developing and implementing policies and strategies that have contributed to making Portland, Oregon one of the best cities in the nation, including being recognized for its sustainability efforts.

He has a diverse educational background, having studied Political Science at the University of Oregon and Portland State University, as well as Spanish Language and Literature at Universidad de Guadalajara.

Adams has been associated with several organizations, holding positions such as Director of Strategic Innovations at the Office of Mayor Ted Wheeler, Executive Director at the City Club of Portland, and as the Mayor and City Commissioner of Portland.

Currently, Adams works as a consultant and columnist, sharing his insights on national issues relating to urban development and public policy.

He has also been actively involved in various campaigns, advocacy roles, and has contributed as a commentator for notable publications.
