Salma Shaik

Salma Shaik is a computer science student with a keen interest in deep learning applications within software systems, computer vision in healthcare, and machine learning research. She pursued her Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, achieving a remarkable 9.38 CGPA. Prior to this, she completed her K-12 education with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology at the International Indian School in Jeddah.

Salma has valuable experience working with prestigious organizations. She served as a CVIT Summer Scholar at the Centre for Visual Information Technology (CVIT), where she likely worked on cutting-edge projects related to computer vision and image processing. Additionally, Salma dedicated her time as a mentee at the GirlScript Foundation, an organization committed to empowering women in technology. Furthermore, she contributed as an Open Source Developer at GirlScript Summer of Code, showcasing her skills in coding and collaborating on significant projects within the open-source community.
