Saif Islam

Saif Islam is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in software and IT business. He has held leadership roles in various organizations and has been a driving force behind large enterprise transformations, leveraging Agile, Lean, and DevOps practices. Saif has a strong expertise in digital transformation for large organizations and is a passionate advocate for culture and organizational change management. With his vast experience in building practices in Agile and DevOps, he has led large, distributed software development teams for multi-million dollar engagements. In addition to this, he has also built IBM Rational Services team in India from scratch and increased the revenue five times in three years. Saif has lived and worked in India/Asia Pacific for three years, making him highly effective in leading cross-cultural, multi-generational global teams.

Saif holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Helsinki and a BS and MS in Software Engineering from the University of Saint Thomas. He has also held various positions in organizations such as TEKsystems, IBM, and CA Technologies. Currently, he is the Principal Consultant - Organization Change & Transformation at ThoughtWorks, where he continues to drive organizational change and leads enterprise transformation.
