Sai Nihas

Toronto-based self-taught product designer Sai Nihas brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. With a background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Nihas has developed a strong foundation in analytical thinking and problem-solving. He completed his Bachelor's degree at M.V.S.R Engineering College.

Nihas has a passion for creativity and design, which led him to pursue a career in product design. He honed his skills at esteemed organizations such as Shopify, where he has held various positions, including Staff Product Designer, Senior Product Designer, and Product Designer. During his tenure at Shopify, Nihas contributed to the development of innovative e-commerce solutions and played a key role in creating user-friendly interfaces.

Before joining Shopify, Nihas worked at Ola, where he held the position of Lead Product Designer. His keen eye for detail and ability to think outside the box allowed him to create visually appealing and intuitive designs for the popular ride-hailing platform.

Prior to his role at Ola, Nihas served as a Lead Consultant at ThoughtWorks, where he had the opportunity to work on diverse projects and honed his skills in problem-solving, collaboration, and project management. His experience at ThoughtWorks equipped him with a holistic understanding of product development and the ability to tackle complex challenges head-on.

Nihas also has a background in visual design, having held positions as a Senior Visual Designer at Mutual Mobile and as a Graphic & Web Designer at idola fori.
