Saeed Kamalinia

Saeed Kamalinia is the Senior Manager of Consulting and Analytical Services group at S&C Electric Company in Chicago, leading a team of engineers conducting various power system studies and research.

With over 15 years of experience in the power engineering industry, his expertise spans a wide range of areas including power system economics, renewable generation planning, load flow and dynamic stability analysis, reactive compensation systems, reliability studies, and more.

He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran.

Saeed has been involved in numerous large-scale projects globally, drawing upon his rich background to effectively collaborate with teams and deliver on challenging endeavors.

His past roles include Senior Engineer, Project Engineer, and Assistant Manager at S&C Electric Company, along with various leadership positions in professional organizations such as IEEE and CIGRÉ US Next Generation Network (NGN).
