She is best known for her work on the 2005 documentary Back to Bosnia, which reflects her experiences as a war refugee during the Bosnian War. Vajrača began her artistic journey as a poet and short-story writer, and she aspired to become a film director from a young age. After fleeing her home due to the war, she settled in the United States, where she has continued her career in film and theatre, particularly in New York City.1
