Saad Parvez is a forward-thinking individual with a passion for utilizing technology to drive positive change globally. With a keen interest in understanding the intricacies of how things operate, Saad thrives on creating, be it in the form of products, processes, or team development.

Saad boasts a diverse array of experience across various industries and products, including spearheading new model development and launch initiatives, achieving significant cost savings in high-profile projects like Tesla Models X & S, involvement in biomedical devices spanning cardiology, sanitation, and prosthetics, and contributing to aerospace engine transmission component production.

His technical expertise covers product development, design for manufacturing, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), various manufacturing methods like plastic moldings and CNC machining, statistical process controls, product validation testing, and more.

In the realm of operations, Saad excels in supply chain management and has extensive experience working with international suppliers across different continents. He is well-versed in design thinking methodologies and holds a certification from MIT Sloan. Additionally, his prowess in new product introduction, program management, and engineering project management is highlighted by his role as the North American lead for the 11th generation Civic seating manufacturing development at Honda.

Continuous improvement is a cornerstone of Saad's professional approach, evident in his expertise in Lean practices, Just-In-Time (JIT) principles, risk analysis, Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Root Cause Analysis. Currently pursuing the Professional Engineer (P.Eng) and Project Management Professional (PMP) designations, Saad is an active member of both the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) and Project Management Institute (PMI).

Saad Parvez's educational background includes a BASc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Quantic School of Business and Technology, and completion of the Mastering Design Thinking program through the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Saad has held key roles in prominent organizations such as Honda of Canada Manufacturing, where he served as a New Model Development Engineer and Theme Lead, as well as in Tesla as a Product Excellence Intern in vehicle engineering. He has also gained valuable experience in roles involving product engineering, quality assurance, and manufacturing engineering through internships at notable companies such as Baylis Medical, Northstar Aerospace, and Amphenol Canada Corp.
