S. Hu

S. Hu is a seasoned startup founder and CTO with extensive experience in building and hyper-scaling engineering and research teams in areas such as AR, computer vision, and data science for both startups and established tech companies. Throughout his career, he has successfully led teams through the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation and research to prototyping, engineering, quality assurance, and production. S. Hu holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering as well as a Bachelor's degree from Carnegie Mellon University. He has held several key positions in reputable organizations such as Visiting Partner at Y Combinator, Startup Advisor, and Angel Investor at various new companies, Director of Engineering and Head of AR Platform at Niantic, Inc., Co-founder and CTO of Escher Reality (acquired by Niantic), Data Science Lead at Verizon Labs, and Research Engineer at Intel Corporation, among others.
