Ryley Iverson is a dynamic individual with a passion for connecting people and concepts, problem-solving, and continuous learning. He has a keen interest in automating workflows to enhance efficiency.
In his most recent role as the National Lead for PropTech Innovation at Colliers Canada, Ryley spearheaded initiatives to identify, assess, and recommend new technologies aimed at boosting Colliers' property management offerings, particularly emphasizing security and sustainability.
Prior to his time at Colliers, Ryley devoted six years to establishing and growing a government analytics startup named Townfolio. Under his guidance, Townfolio evolved from a concept to an acquired entity in December 2020, catering to over 500 government clients across Canada and the United States by providing market data on numerous cities.
Before his entrepreneurial ventures, Ryley accumulated valuable experience over five years in startups and microfinance, offering consultancy services to numerous entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Ryley's expertise and insights have earned him speaking engagements at various prestigious events, such as The Intelligent Community Forum in London, UK, and The Global Economic Institute for Africa in Lagos, Nigeria, as well as Techstars Demo Day.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management from the University of Saskatchewan's Edwards School of Business.
Ryley has held diverse roles in organizations, including Digital Transformation Manager at Community Futures Sunshine Coast, Consultant & Coach in a self-employed capacity, Business Development & Portfolio Manager at Community Futures Sunshine Coast, in addition to his leadership positions at Colliers and Townfolio. He has also been involved with Techstars, Futurpreneur Canada, and Connect Energy in various capacities.
His professional interests span a wide range of topics, including startups, data/DaaS, SaaS, plant-based medicine, psychology and mental health, real estate analytics, and market & competitive intelligence.
