Ryan Zalis is a seasoned executive with a strong background in strategy and mergers and acquisitions across several industries, including technology, software, and industrial. Zalis holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence in Law from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Manitoba, where he also served as a teacher's assistant in the Finance Department.

Prior to his current role as Senior Director for Strategic Development and Head of M&A for Intelligent Operating Solutions platform at Fortive, Zalis held several leadership positions, including Director of Strategic Development and Associate Partner, at Bain & Company. Additionally, he has experience in investment banking with J.P. Morgan and TD, as well as in the legal field as an associate at Aikins MacAulay & Thorvaldson and summer associate/articling student at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP.
