Ryan Stolley
Student Research Initiative Stream Lead at University of Utah
Ryan Stolley is a dedicated scientist with a strong passion for discovery and analysis of the natural world. With a background in Organic Chemistry, he pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at the University of Utah and holds a B.S. in Chemistry from Fort Lewis College.
Throughout his career, Ryan has held various roles demonstrating his agility, goal-oriented problem-solving skills, and leadership qualities. He has been actively involved in academia and research through positions such as Student Research Initiative Stream Lead at the College of Science, University of Utah, Principal Chemist at GlycoSurf, LLC, Research Assistant Professor at University of Utah, and Adjunct Professor at Westminster College.
His professional journey also includes administrative and managerial roles, where he served as Program Manager at the Utah Climate Action Network, Councilman at the PostDoc Council at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, and Chair of the Chemistry Student Advisory Council at the University of Utah.
In addition to his academic and corporate positions, Ryan has contributed to policy and research initiatives, having been an AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow for the SunShot Initiative at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). He has also showcased his expertise as a Synthesis Sub-group Lead at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory and as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the Center for Molecular Electrocatalysis, further solidifying his versatile skill set.
Furthermore, Ryan's commitment to the scientific community is evident through his editorial contributions as a Former Editorial Board Member at Frontiers in Energy Research.
