Director Of External Affairs at Umoja Chicago

Since 1997, Umoja has been supporting young people by responding to the needs of stakeholders, especially in schools.  As we move forward, Umoja commits to supporting young people and showing up in this space by responding to the needs of all stakeholders, using our 20+ years of experience and learning, to co-conspire with community members and build capacity for stakeholders to drive sustainable change. We will focus on a defined state of "Wellness." Through the completion of collaborative needs assessments (Wellness Checks), Umoja makes recommendations for a targeted strategy for change and then uses systems of Continuous Improvement to ensure that change is realized.

Wellness is our necessary future state.
