Ryan Miller

Ryan Miller is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in location technologies within the solar, sustainability, environmental, and safety sectors.

He is the Founder and President of Urban Glue and has a rich background in developing large-scale geospatial data processing environments for analyzing solar shading characteristics in buildings across the U.S.

Dr. Miller's expertise extends to serving as the Sustainability Solutions Architect in CH2M HILL, where he led the integration of Carbon Management Systems with spatial technologies, as well as developing award-winning solar mapping portals.

His career also includes working with the Department of Energy on the Solar America Cities Initiative to promote the adoption of solar technologies in various cities.

Ryan Miller's specialties encompass large scale geospatial data processing, solar shade modeling, location technologies, sustainability management systems, and collaboration solutions.

His educational background includes an MBA in Business from UNM Anderson School of Management, a PhD in Watershed Hydrology/GIS from the University of Arizona, an MS in Water Resource Science from the University of Minnesota, and a BS in Forest Hydrology, also from the University of Minnesota.

Throughout his career, he has held various roles such as CTO at Sun Number, LLC, Senior Sales Engineer at Enviance, Sustainability Technology Lead at Critigen, and Lead Technologist for the Solar Mapping Initiative at CH2MHILL.
