Ryan Miller is an experienced educator and advocate of student-centered learning. With a Doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction: Educational Technology from the University of Utah, a Master's of Education in Secondary Education, Gifted & Talented from Utah State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology/Geography from the University of Utah, Miller has had extensive training in education and technology.
Miller has held multiple teaching positions at various levels, including as an associate professor at University of Phoenix, an adjunct instructor at Salt Lake Community College and University of Utah, and a secondary gifted & talented teacher at Granite School District & Utah State University. Additionally, Miller served as a social studies teacher and gang intervention teacher (C.M.I.) at Granite School District.
Miller's teaching philosophy adheres to John Dewey's principles, which emphasize student-led, project-based learning. He has always been interested in utilizing technology in the classroom and ensuring that students engage with relevant technology in their lives.
Outside of education, Miller has experience as a lumber department supervisor at The Home Depot.
