Ryan Michael Kania is a passionate advocate for global health, dedicated to addressing the disparity in medical supplies distribution. He founded Advocates for World Health (AWH) after witnessing the consequences of medical supply shortages during a volunteer trip to Guatemala in 2008.
AWH aims to redistribute surplus medical supplies to underserved hospitals and reduce the amount of medical waste. Under Ryan's leadership, AWH has expanded its reach to 45 containers distributed to over 40 countries annually.
Ryan's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business.
In addition to his work with AWH, Ryan has been involved in various organizations and roles including serving as a member at Seedfunders LLC, Founder & CEO at Social Enterprise Services Inc., Financial Analyst at Crosstree Capital Partners, Inc., and more.
Driven by a desire to make a positive impact, Ryan also consults with companies to improve operational efficiency, increase revenue margins, and integrate philanthropic initiatives into their business models.
