Ryan McCarrel

Ryan McCarrel is a published author and expert in geopolitics, borders, and global issues. With a Master of Arts in Geopolitics and the Global Economy and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, he has studied in-depth the complexities of world affairs. As Stream Lead for Economy & Global Order at GLOBSEC, Ryan is responsible for connecting world leaders, thinkers, and entrepreneurs to tackle some of the most pressing issues of the next decade and beyond. Additionally, Ryan has worked as a Founder at Fotografia Limited Edition Prints and as a Teaching Fellow at Nazarbayev University. He has also contributed as a former News Editor at Geography Directions, a Visiting Researcher at the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies (GFSIS), and as an International Research Fellow at The Caucasus Research Resource Centers.
