Ryan Lang

Ryan Lang is a board member at the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre (NNMCC) in Burnaby, British Columbia. He is a yonsei, meaning he is a fourth-generation Japanese Canadian, and resides in Vancouver with his wife, Eliza. His connection to the Nikkei Centre is deeply personal; he first visited when his great-grandmother, Tamako Miki, moved to Nikkei Place in the early 2000s. His family has been significantly involved in the community, with his grandfather, Patrick Miki, and great-aunt, Joan Miki, contributing to the Nikkei Place's development.

Professionally, Ryan Lang serves as a Managing Director at Deloitte Corporate Finance. His career spans over 12 years in various fields including commercial and corporate banking, business strategy, and real estate development. He holds a Bachelor of Business in Real Estate from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid. Additionally, he is a CFA Charterholder, indicating his expertise in financial analysis and investment management.
