Ryan Kriser is an American angel investor, venture capitalist, and philanthropist with a focus on investing in disruptive breakthrough technologies, industry 4.0, and the space sector. He has invested in over 20 private markets and donated to nonprofits such as Space for Humanity, SENS Research Foundation, The Planetary Society, and Syracuse University. Ryan's investments span across biotechnology, AI, future of work, robotics, transportation, infrastructure, and 3D printing. Some notable investments in his portfolio include Mojo Vision, Astra Space, Relativity Space, VolumetricBio, OncoSenX, and TransAstra.
Educationally, Ryan Kriser studied Finance and Entrepreneurship at Syracuse University's Martin J. Whitman School of Management, followed by an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Ryan is the founder and Chief Investment Officer at Helios Capital and has previously held positions at Swarm Technologies, Xplore Inc, Ashvattha Therapeutics, LLC, and The Planetary Society. He was also an Advisor at Stifel Financial Corp. and Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. Furthermore, Ryan has served on various advisory council boards, including The Planetary Society and Space for Humanity.
