Ryan Kalus is a seasoned graphic designer and branding expert with over a decade of experience working in various creative agencies in New York City. He is the Principal and Design Director of Buttermilk Flannel, a design studio that he launched in 2019. Ryan's exceptional skills in envisioning unique design systems and building cohesive, equity-building brand experiences have helped him launch ten brand identities for pre-fund and funded startups. He has a talent for fostering thoughtful design techniques to sell groundbreaking ideas and products. Additionally, Ryan has taught design at Miami Ad School and worked with clients such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Intermark Group, and 360i New York. Ryan lives in Silver Lake, California, with his wife, toddler, and two terriers.
