ConnecTech hosts highly effective and enjoyable VIP events that bring together top-notch IT vendors with high-level IT executives from local Fortune 1000 companies.  

These events are an exclusive offering that provides matching of the vendors offering with the needs of the executive attendees to produce a highly effective evening of networking and 1-on-1 private meetings.  

Our goal is simply to save both IT executives and IT vendors a lot of time by providing a platform where they can quickly meet face-to-face in an enjoyable setting and determine if there's a fit.

ConnecTech is not utilizing any flight/hotel or other incentives to attract our executive attendees. The executives are attending because they trust us to not waste their time and facilitate introductions to vendors that they can utilize to fulfill their needs.

Was brought in just before the company entered its second year of business to help expand operations.  At that time, Captive8 had only held a few events all based in Los Angeles, CA.  Brought in a large number of new clients, helped improve client retention and overall company processes, and spearheaded the expansion into new territories.

Quota-carrying head of sales for a growing IT events company that matches top vendors with C-level executives looking for their products and services. Responsibilities Include:  Training new hires, cold-calling,  attending tradeshows, booking clients to event dates in various areas, recruiting executives to attend events in various areas, prepping vendors and executives in both pre-event, and post-event debriefs, and all other necessary duties related to expanding our product into new territories.  

From these efforts, I was able to generate 49% of the company’s total business for 2013, and 57% of the revenue for 2014.  This also included spearheading the launch of our first Dallas and Orange County events which was achieved by leveraging the connections in my pre-existing network.  This effort has now resulted in repeat events in these territories.  Before the close of 2014, I exceeded my 2015 Q1 quota for vendor bookings by 18.5k (126% of Q1 2015 closed before the end of 2014).  Vendors booked include VEEAM Software, Capriza, Checkpoint Software, Codenomicon, Kofax, Nutanix, Talari Networks, Zscaler, and many more.  While working to manage existing executive and vendor relationships and train our new hires, I also effectively networked to add over 30 net-new executives to our network, including executives from the following: Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Hudson Advisors, Broadcom, Chapman University, Farmers & Merchants Bank, Citi Futures, NYC HPD, Digital Insight, Allergan, etc.

Performed full-desk sales for all clients that I brought into the company.  
Responsibilities included:  Cold-calling, scheduling meetings, obtaining clients’ open requirements, and closing them on our services. 
Within the first 6 months, I was generating over $8k of weekly gross profit and maintaining averages ranking amongst the top 3 recruiters company-wide.  In my 8 months of employment with the company in 2005, I generated over $150k in gross profits.  By 2007, I exceeded $500k in annual profit (a quota which I consistently exceeded in subsequent years). In some years, the annual figures exceeded as much as $900k / 227% of quota.
