Ryan works with leading Financial Services brands, Fintechs, and Investors to support their product-led growth strategy and digital transformation. This involves working with senior leadership (in particular CPOs and CMOs) to:

Ryan was one of the first people to join 11:FS, which experienced hyper-growth over the period he worked there. Since joining, Ryan and his team were integral to the vast majority of work delivered by 11:FS.

- A leading role in business development and growing the business's revenues and margins.
- Building and scaling an industry-leading team of researchers, strategists and product builders that shape customer-led ventures all over the world.
- Leading go-to-market (GTM) campaigns that enabled 11:FS to grow their reputation in being a product-led venture builder

Principal Customer & Product Lead

Ryan was part of the founding leadership team at CitizenMe, building a next-generation decentralised personal data platform. Ryan's role was a blend of product leadership and commercial strategy. Key achievements included:

- Leading the development of smartphone apps that grew customer acquisition by 5% a week.
- Managing a cross-functional team that launched a two-sided marketplace and SaaS offering.
- Driving business development across multiple verticals including retail, insurance and fintech.
- Delivering consulting services using the CitizenMe platform for enterprise clients.

Ryan also supported the CEO in shaping the business and raising funding from investors.

Product Director

Ryan joined to lead a new team tasked with driving new revenue growth for the business. Within his first 3 months, Ryan sold a six-figure project to rethink the data strategy for one of the UK's largest supermarkets. Key focus areas included:

- Leading a team focused on selling and delivering consultancy around the proposition design and business case development for new data-driven digital services.
- Advancing the use case of Verve's existing Community Panel platform technology to support the revenue growth of Verve's core business.

In a relatively short space of time, Ryan managed and shaped a new team, opened up new revenue streams and introduced new client propositions for Verve.

In his time at GfK, Ryan acquired a strong set of skills around research methodologies, strategy consulting and business development. Ryan managed a team of seven and a revenue base of £5 million annually. His team specialised in working with technology, digital and media clients making the shift to the digital economy. Ryan's team covered the following key areas:

- Innovation and early stage concept development for new mobile based digital services.
- Creation of digital, mobile and ecosystem strategies for big tech and media businesses in both developing and developed markets.
- Sizing the growth opportunity for businesses adopting a digital strategy and targeting new market segments.
- Evaluation of the customer experience of 'in market' products and digital services and their impact on key performance metrics such as loyalty, brand equity and NPS.

Ryan also pioneered the creation and editorial of GfK's TechTalk blog (ranked in the top 5 by HubSpot in 2014), which inspired the launch of regular magazines and live events.

The Director position was the last position Ryan held at GfK.
