Ryan Barry
Ryan Barry is a software engineer with a philosophy of computer science and a passion for acquiring specializations. He is best known as a co-founder of Diddit and for his contributions as a front-end software engineer at Workpop, Inc., and Cornerstone OnDemand. Drawing on his background in real-time interactive simulation at DigiPen Institute of Technology, Ryan is a proponent of explanation-driven development (EDD), seeking optimized systems developed through well-explained solutions that support rapid and creative problem solving cycles. Ryan has worked on freelance projects for Collab, Inc., and Ignition, and as a Software Engineer and Full-Stack Web Developer for Fullscreen, Inc., and Amusedom. He began his career at Nintendo of America as a Consumer Service Administration Representative and has held several other web development and software engineering roles throughout his career. In addition to his engineering work, Ryan has a background in the arts, including experience as Lead Artist/Music Director at Strongbox Entertainment.
