Ruzica Pekic

Ruzica Pekic is the Founder and CEO of Proptiq, focusing on business development and growth strategies in digital solutions for co-living and community aspects of living.

Originally from Croatia, Ruzica holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Zagreb and pursued further studies in finance in Germany.

With a strong background in Investment Banking (M&A) and Private Equity, Ruzica is a seasoned business development professional with a Master's degree in Finance specialized in Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

She founded Proptiq in 2019 and proudly belongs to the 15% community of female founders worldwide.

Her educational journey includes studies in finance, business administration, language, and management at prestigious institutions like the University of Zagreb, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, EF International Language Campuses, Management Center Innsbruck, and King's College London.

In addition to leading Proptiq, Ruzica has gained valuable experience through various roles in organizations such as Barclays Investment Bank, Alantra, D.CT Deutsche Cleantech GmbH, FERI Gruppe, Clearwater International Corporate Finance, Schreiter & Cie. GmbH. Executive Search, Hypo Alpe-Adria-Bank d.d., Hrastico Ltd, and Lider Ltd.

Her diverse professional background includes positions ranging from internships in Investment Banking and Private Equity to roles in executive search, customer service, event organization, and sales.
