Meet Ruth McGhee, a seasoned educator with over 16 years of experience in the classroom. Ruth has served as both Head of Department and a teacher of numerous subjects, including English (including AP and IB), Debate/Public Speaking, Drama, Leadership, and Math. She is currently utilizing her expertise as a University Counsellor and academic advisor at St. Michaels University School. Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Education (BEd) in Secondary English/Language Arts from the University of Calgary. She completed her Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Urban Geography at the University of Victoria before heading to the University of Cambridge, where she earned her Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Politics, Democracy & Education. Ruth's previous English teaching positions include Pacific Christian School and the American International School of Budapest. With such a rich and diverse educational background, Ruth is a valuable asset to any educational institution or community.
